This August, Innovageous spent time with schools from Pennsylvania to California preparing for the 2021-2022 school year! The topics we covered were diverse - such as using classroom meetings, pulling forward COVID keepers this year, meeting the social and emotional needs of students, planning to pivot between online and in-person instruction, and steps for success in classroom routines. While these sessions were diverse, the Innovageous team ensured a common denominator by kicking off sessions with a focus on self-care for educators. Through some individual thinking time, and the use of a BINGO game educators identified ways they will care for themselves this year and networked with others to make connections around their self-care habits. We know how important it will be for educators to ensure they are giving themselves what they need to be healthy, happy, and productive in the classroom! To keep this a priority for educators this year, Innovageous created an acronym for the word L.A.U.G.H.

G- Gratitude Every Day
H- Have Fun; Laugh, Sing and Dance
